Window films perform best on regular annealed window glass and are not recommended for use on tempered glass without the use of an anchoring system; Where possible the film should be installed behind the window stops. When installing security window films on tempered glass the film should be anchored with structural silicone caulking, we recommend Dow Corning 995. This film is intended for use on single pane glass or tempered double pane glass. It is not reccommeded for doulble pane glass, double pane low-e coated glass or laminated glass.
